Forest Whitaker, pretty easily, I think. Haven't seen him or anyone from this year though.
I rewatched Blood Diamond kind of recently, so I might jump off the bridge and say Leonardo is my pick this year.
However, I've always been a huge fan of Forest Whitaker's work.
I've only seen Whittaker and I think he was good but rather overpraised. And I thought McAvoy gave the true leading (and better) performance.
