The only one of these I have not seen are Jose Ferrer in Moulin Rouge. I love all the other performances, particularly Guinness, because he's so damn good, and one of my favorite actors. To me, it's a four way between Douglas, Brando, Cooper and Guinness, but hey, Ferrer could be better than I expect.

I only saw Cooper but I was underwhelmed by him. I think Douglas would get my vote if I got to see the other movies. That's just pure speculation.

Predictions:
1)Douglas (3rd win from you, why not, you seem to really like him)
2)Brando
3)Guiness
4)Cooper
5)Ferrer

Ooh, I can't choose between Douglas and Cooper. They were both so good, but I'm leaning towards Douglas.

Eh, yeah I would go with Marlon Brando this year.

I LOVE Coop. He's my second favorite actor of all-time (just a tiny smidge behind William Holden).

I think he was fabulous in High Noon...and worthy of his Academy Award win; however, I think his 1941 win should have gone to Cary Grant for Penny Serenade.
