Anthony Franciosa in A Hatful of Rain

Anthony Quinn in Wild is the Wind

Alec Guinness in The Bridge on the River Kwai 

Marlon Brando in Sayonara

Charles Laughton in Witness for the Prosecution

Yes! Brando will probably be last, I hope you like Laughton who was amazing and I'm sure you'll like Guinness as well!

Alec Guiness, 100% sure. I would go with Laughton, but Guiness is one of your favorites so I'm sure about him.

Franciosa is a horrible actor. He's TERRIBLE in Wild is the Wind. I haven't seen his nominated performance but I don't expect much.
