I remember hearing about Eyewitness on Siskel and Ebert so I thought I would look it up and when you read that it has William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, Christopher Plummer, James Woods, Irene Worth, Morgan Freeman and Kenneth Macmillan. It really made me want to see if it was a hidden gem, I thought it was decent enough.
I'm so glad you loved the performance Pêra, I really wish she was alive and show her all these compliments. Pixote for me is the fourth best Brazilian film of all time; second only to: City of God, The Given Word and Central Station.

Louis: Another great performance by Montenegro is the film The Deceased, worth putting in the lead ranking in 1965.

4º David Warner
3º Dennis Hopper
2º Griffin Dunne
