I don't think you'd have chosen to review Clooney unless you've seen him and thought he was good. That said, I still thing he'll be last or 4th at best.
1. Ryan Gosling 2. Choi Min-sik 3. Andy Serkis 4. Robert Duvall 5. George Clooney
Again, I know it's early, but here's some 2010 Supporting Actor suggestions while they're fresh in my mind:
Andrew Garfield in The Social Network Sam Rockwell in Conviction Justin Timberlake in The Social Network Armie Hammer in The Social Network Keiran Culkin in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Jason Schwartzman in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Pete Postlethwaite in The Town Pierce Brosnan in The Ghost Writer Mark Strong in Kick-Ass Ben Mendelsohn in Animal Kingdom
I left out the men from Inception because the movie never really gives any of them much development. Kudos to them, though, because they certainly made the most of it. The only performance in Inception that was awards worthy in my eyes was Marion Cotillard, who happens to be my choice for Supporting Actress that year in a landslide.
Ryan Gosling was really great but, I dont no, I just find Blue Valentine to be just too much if you get me, I felt like killing myself after seeing this film it makes u feel so damn depressed.

^ To that I would add Ken Watanabe in Inception (who I thought took what could've been a stock character and found some real depth in it).

Have to admit, kind of suprised neither of DiCaprio's performances are here.

Clooney's Best performance besides From Dust till dawn.

Since Michael mentioned a movie from a year you already reviewed, are you going to rank Eric Stoltz in Mask for 1985 Lead Actor?
Can I suggest the excellent Vincent Cassel in Black Swan for supporrting actor 2010,Guy Pearce in The Kings Speech or Jack Mcgee in The Fighter.
Michael, Koook: I will have to get around to those film, and I will add the performances to the overall ranks when I finally watch them.
