Fassbender is truly amazing, the winner easily I think , Gosling was good and had Steve Mcqueen coolness, Gleeson was great, Shannon was good although not amazing, havnt seen Wieckiewicz but it could be a sleeper hit.
I was hoping you would review Peyman Moadi or Tom Cullen. Still, it's a good line up. I'm particularly excited to read your thoughts on Fassbender and Gosling.
@moviefilm - Did you think Louis was going to put himself through pain just to see Thomas Horn lol he was awful, it would have made for a very funny read though.
Just FYI, I would love to see the following ranked along with the actual and alternate nominees:
Hunter McCracken in The Tree of Life Daniel Craig in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Tom Hardy in Warrior Joel Edgerton in Warrior Joseph Gordon-Levitt in 50/50 Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris Ryan Gosling in The Ides of March Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Leonardo DiCaprio in J. Edgar Michael Fassbender in X-Men: First Class Michael Fassbender in A Dangerous Method Ewan McGregor in Beginners Paul Giamatti in Win Win Antonio Banderas in The Skin I Live In Anton Yelchin in Like Crazy Peyman Moaadi in A Separation
You could also include the following, though they aren't as important: Joel Courtney in Super 8 Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 Jason Segel in The Muppets Craig Roberts in Submarine Ed Helms in Cedar Rapids James McAvoy in X-Men: First Class Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Martin Sheen in The Way Paul Rudd in Our Idiot Brother Jake Gyllenhaal in Source Code Jeremy Irvine in War Horse Asa Butterfield in Hugo Mel Gibson in The Beaver Rutger Hauer in Hobo with a Shotgun Bradley Cooper in Limitless Matthew McConaughey in The Lincoln Lawyer Robert Downey, Jr. in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Jack Black or Steve Martin or Owen Wilson in The Big Year Jamie Bell in The Adventures of Tintin Matt Damon in We Bought a Zoo Matt Damon in Contagion Thomas Horn in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (haha)
I know this is a massive number of people, but I just have a feeling that a lot of them could rank higher than Clooney if you give them the chance.
@RatedRStar - At the beginning he said, that he was not going to review just the good performance, but the worst ranked performance yet, was Jeff Bridges in Fearless (3,5 points). So I thought he could do that. And I don't think he was s awful, at all. We cannot judge his performance, unless we know someone with Asperger syndrome. But enough about him.. :)
Sorry I had a feeling I would sound impatient, and I guess I am, though I wasn't trying to sound so. I was just curious because he usually releases 1 review per day and he hasn't released 1 in 2 days.
To all requests: They will of course be in consideration for those years.
Michael: I will be ranking many of those with in the overall. I will try to get Fassbender's review on as soon as possible, but it will be more time as I unfortunately have been quite busy the past few days.
Take your time. I wasn't trying to be pushy or annoying, but I like reading your reviews and rankings everyday, which I guess is actually a compliment to you. I totally understand you being busy and not being able to get Fassbender's review written and posted over the last couple of days. I honestly have considered doing a blog somehow related to the Oscars, but I just don't have the time to make it worthwhile to me nor any prospective readers. Anyway, take your time (I'd rather you write and good, thoughtful review than a hurried one)and I eagerly await reading your future reviews.

My reviews back on !
This year seems to be exciting, I'm particulary interested in Wieckiewicz.
@RatedRStar - At the beginning he said, that he was not going to review just the good performance, but the worst ranked performance yet, was Jeff Bridges in Fearless (3,5 points). So I thought he could do that.

@moviefilm - I agree I would love to see Louis review it, as he seemed to really hate it during Von Sydows review =D lol.
I've only seen Fassbender, Shannon and Gosling:
1. Shannon (Perfect performance!).
2. Gosling.
3. Fassbender (I didn't think he was brilliant at all!).
When you do the alternate Supporting Actor for this year, may I suggest you keep Kidder Sutherland for Melancholia in mind?
Keep Jurgen Prochnow and Herbert Gronemeyer in mind for Das Boot in 1981
I'm kinda curious as to when you're planning to release your next review.
Oh, come off it Patison. Louis is probably busily working away at these reviews, he is probably just busy with other stuff.
I hope I do not sound too much like a chiding mother, I just ask for patience.

I very much appreciate the support Michael.
