Thanks for doing my request regarding Więckiewicz! :) As much as I am rooting for him, I think Gosling or Fassbender will take the win:1.Fassbender2.Gosling3.Gleeson4.Więckiewicz5.Shannon
I was hoping you would review Peyman Moadi or Tom Cullen. Still, it's a good line up. I'm particularly excited to read your thoughts on Fassbender and Gosling.
I'm guessing it's between Gosling and Fassbender....
I was pretty surprised Fassbender wasn't nominated..
1. Michael Fassbender 2. Ryan Gosling3. Robert Mieckiewicz4. Brendan Gleeson5. Michael Shannon
I'm disappointed, you didn't choose Thomas Horn. But it's your choice, I can't do anything with that. Here are my predictions: 1) Michael Fassbender2) Ryan Gosling3) Brendan Gleeson4) Michael Shannon5) Robert Wieckiewicz
I am not keen on fassbender, goslings my winner.
1. Michael Fassbender2. Ryan Gosling3. Brendan Gleeson4. Robert Wieckiewicz5. Michael Shannon
I have seen everyone but Wieckiewicz, but I am going to make a prediction nonetheless.1) Michael Fassbender2) Brendan Gleeson3) Ryan Gosling4) Robert Wieckiewicz5) Michael ShannonIrishmen for the win!!!!!
@moviefilm - Did you think Louis was going to put himself through pain just to see Thomas Horn lol he was awful, it would have made for a very funny read though.
Just FYI, I would love to see the following ranked along with the actual and alternate nominees:Hunter McCracken in The Tree of LifeDaniel Craig in The Girl with the Dragon TattooTom Hardy in WarriorJoel Edgerton in WarriorJoseph Gordon-Levitt in 50/50Owen Wilson in Midnight in ParisRyan Gosling in The Ides of MarchRyan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love.Leonardo DiCaprio in J. EdgarMichael Fassbender in X-Men: First ClassMichael Fassbender in A Dangerous MethodEwan McGregor in BeginnersPaul Giamatti in Win WinAntonio Banderas in The Skin I Live InAnton Yelchin in Like CrazyPeyman Moaadi in A SeparationYou could also include the following, though they aren't as important:Joel Courtney in Super 8Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2Jason Segel in The MuppetsCraig Roberts in SubmarineEd Helms in Cedar RapidsJames McAvoy in X-Men: First ClassTom Cruise in Mission: Impossible - Ghost ProtocolMartin Sheen in The WayPaul Rudd in Our Idiot BrotherJake Gyllenhaal in Source CodeJeremy Irvine in War HorseAsa Butterfield in HugoMel Gibson in The BeaverRutger Hauer in Hobo with a ShotgunBradley Cooper in LimitlessMatthew McConaughey in The Lincoln LawyerRobert Downey, Jr. in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of ShadowsJack Black or Steve Martin or Owen Wilson in The Big YearJamie Bell in The Adventures of TintinMatt Damon in We Bought a ZooMatt Damon in ContagionThomas Horn in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (haha)I know this is a massive number of people, but I just have a feeling that a lot of them could rank higher than Clooney if you give them the chance.
My reviews back on !
This year seems to be exciting, I'm particulary interested in Wieckiewicz.
@RatedRStar - At the beginning he said, that he was not going to review just the good performance, but the worst ranked performance yet, was Jeff Bridges in Fearless (3,5 points). So I thought he could do that. And I don't think he was s awful, at all. We cannot judge his performance, unless we know someone with Asperger syndrome. But enough about him.. :)
@moviefilm - I agree I would love to see Louis review it, as he seemed to really hate it during Von Sydows review =D lol.
I've only seen Fassbender, Shannon and Gosling:1. Shannon (Perfect performance!).2. Gosling.3. Fassbender (I didn't think he was brilliant at all!).
When you do the alternate Supporting Actor for this year, may I suggest you keep Kidder Sutherland for Melancholia in mind?
Keep Jurgen Prochnow and Herbert Gronemeyer in mind for Das Boot in 1981
I'm kinda curious as to when you're planning to release your next review.
Oh, come off it Patison. Louis is probably busily working away at these reviews, he is probably just busy with other stuff. I hope I do not sound too much like a chiding mother, I just ask for patience.
Sorry I had a feeling I would sound impatient, and I guess I am, though I wasn't trying to sound so. I was just curious because he usually releases 1 review per day and he hasn't released 1 in 2 days.
To all requests: They will of course be in consideration for those years. Michael: I will be ranking many of those with in the overall. I will try to get Fassbender's review on as soon as possible, but it will be more time as I unfortunately have been quite busy the past few days.
Take your time. I wasn't trying to be pushy or annoying, but I like reading your reviews and rankings everyday, which I guess is actually a compliment to you. I totally understand you being busy and not being able to get Fassbender's review written and posted over the last couple of days. I honestly have considered doing a blog somehow related to the Oscars, but I just don't have the time to make it worthwhile to me nor any prospective readers. Anyway, take your time (I'd rather you write and good, thoughtful review than a hurried one)and I eagerly await reading your future reviews.
I very much appreciate the support Michael.
