Mine are: Favorite: Fleetwood Mac (ELO a reasonably close second) Guilty Pleasures: Wilson Phillips; Carly Simon Should Be a Guilty Pleasure but Isn't: Joni Mitchell
Michael Patison: Favourite Bands: Queen, Muse, 30 Seconds To Mars, Metallica, The Beatles, The Who, Thin Lizzy and The Sex Pistols.
Guilty Pleasure: The only one, I can think of and will probably get some hate for this, is Nickelback. I quite like two of their songs and that's about it.
When it comes to bands and artists, I'm not entirely sure if I have any guilty pleasures. I guess OwlCity? I know they're cheesy, but weirdly listenable.
Finally got around to seeing Road to Perdition, and it is terrific. How it was not reviewed better when released is beyond me. I agree wholeheartedly with pretty much all of Louis's ratings.
Oh my goodness, yes. Just the feel of it is so powerful and so much of that is thanks to Mendes as the kid, while not bad, is somewhat inadequate. Plus all of the technical aspects are so perfect. Honestly, if not for the scope of Gangs of New York, it'd win every single technical award.
Well, I would certainly, without a second's hesitation give it the win for cinematography at the very least. All the technical aspects are remarkable but man...

Louis, where do you place James Dean's performance in GIANT? Leading or supporting?

@Michael: It really is wonderful, isn't it?
Eh, I still think Road to Perdition is a limp Malick knock-off. I guess I just have the inability to give Sam Mendes the benefit of the doubt.
