I would also pick Ledger but I'm not sure if you will...

I'll take Josh Brolin's more complex, nuanced and disturbing work as Dan White over Heath's good but one note and overpraised performance in The Dark Knight. Brolin did far more with his character in his limited screentime than Ledger did with his signifcantly more screentime

I've seen all of them. :D It's a very strong field, with my vote between Brolin and Ledger (probably Ledger). Hoffman and Downey were also excellent but I didn't like Shannon that much. He was kind of obvious. TOM CRUISE should have been nominated instead of him (my personal vote; I know you don't like him that much as an actor but I think he's great)

Predictions:
1.Ledger
2.Hoffman
3.Brolin
4.Downey
5.Shannon

Heath should win this handily. I Hoffman, Brolin, and Downey are all good but I don't know how I'd rank them. Haven't seen Shannon.

I loved all of the nominees this year, except for Brolin. To me, he just didn't do that much. Ledger was obviously the best, though.
