Dustin Hoffman gives one of my favorite performances ever!

But, I'll predict Steiger...

It looks like a pretty strong year, having classic actors in classic movies. I know you don't like Beatty so much, but I poe he's going to be your pick. Or Hoffman.

I think either Steiger or Hoffman will win. I've seen all of them, except for Newman, and I'd think I'd go with Tracy actually. Not kidding! Hoffman was good, but I don't think he's amazing. I don't really remember much of Beatty and Steiger.

What a great year! I am not sure whom I would pick right now...but Sidney Poitier should have been there, too, for ITHOTN.

I'm happy see all the comments, it certainly is an interesting year since all the performances are at least memorable in some way.

I'd pick Hoffman!

Beatty was okay, but miscast, really. He didn't do anything really nom worthy from what I remember.
