I really liked William Bendixs performance, I felt quite sorry for him cause he was probably along with Hume Cronyns character, the most likable characters in Lifeboat, getting his leg chopped off and then getting thrown off the boat made me sob a bit.

RatedRStar: Yes certainly for Cregar and the film itself is just fine. Sanders has a pretty limited role but he's solid.

RatedRStar: If you haven't seen the Devil and Daniel Webster I'd recommend that. It is a bit tonally inconsistent but when it's good it's really good.

Ive never seen it but, since Huston was ur winner id definitely like 2 see it =).

Off-topic, but what are you're thoughts on the Back to the Future sequels?

I like them both even though neither are nearly as good as the original. There are elements I dislike such as the whole chicken character arc for Marty, and I'm not crazy about the ending but they are fun films nevertheless.
