I agree I think Asian films are the closest rivals in quality to English language films, also they aren't gonna stop anytime soon since 3 of my winning requests are from Asian films plus all of the times that Mifune will appear, also in fact if I win again most likely it ll be an Asian performance chosen.
plus I could compare their stars with ours and they are almost the same in terms of style and personality.

Tony Leung Chiu Wai = Asias Clark Cable
Tatsuya Nakadai = usually quiet and expressive but strong willed at the same time.
Toshiro Mifune = capable of both crazed and quiet portrayals in iconic films
Lau Ching Wan = Jack Nicholson in terms of character and personality(egotistical and crazed at times)
Leslie Cheung = The fallen idol, the Bisexual hero of asia, often played theatrical characters and LGBT characters, I wouldn't quite compare him to Lord Olivier but he is still pretty darn good and skillful.
Takeshi Kitano = Big, loud and scary, often played villains or mobsters with a witty personality.
Chow Yun Fat = the classic leading hero, very charming and heroically bold.
Nicholas Tse = The current heartthrob of asia, touted the next big star, already won numerous awards, he is a bad boy type.
Anthony Wong Chau Sang = Charles Coburn, a master character actor who often played characters of high authority and passion.
I'm a Slovak myself, so any english, or american film is for me foreign, as well. They're weird, because they have a different way of acting. The acting style of them is too different from the european, or american. These reviews from Louis (that are absolutely great) are just as strange for me, as if he was reviewing some bollywood performance - that's also extremely different style...
