Murray is great as always and Douglas gives the performance of his career. I haven't seen the others.

Believe it or not, these would have been the EXACT same people I would have liked to see you review for this year.

Yes! Excellent choices Louis! Thewlis for the win!

Excellent line-up! Did you consider Denzel Washington? I hope Thewlis wins this (he's my #2, after Hopkins).

1.Bridges - terrific performance, how come he wasn't nominated for any major award for it?
2.Murray - not my personal favourite, but he still was good
3.Douglas - the same remarks as about Murray
4.Thewlis - the only one I haven't seen
5.Costner - certainly not the best performance in his career, the movie was also quite uninteresting

Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire??? :D He's somehow missing. It's my favorite performance of his. :)) Anyway, Bill Murray... fantastic. :) Never seen the others.

I'm still disappointed you didn't put Williams in for Mrs. Doubtfire. I'm somewhat disappointed that you didn't put in Ford for The Fugitive though I understand

GradyTripp: I did not really consider him, because I felt it was really just a standard Washington performance, which says very little for me to begin with, but it is less than that because in his scenes where he makes the anti gay remarks to me Washington really seemed to be forcing it.

Dinasztie: Well for me the fifth spot which was the Costner spot, was between him and few others. Again though I might go back and do another set of five later.

Michael: Well Ford I did not do because to me that is just a standard leading man performance by Ford. That is not to say I will not be doing a standard leading man performance by Ford, I intend on doing his best one. The Fugitive is a good example of Ford's presence, but frankly it is a lot like his Witness performance, although in many ways less complex.

Great line-up! I've seen all of these except Thewlis. I have a feeling you'll go for either Thewlis or Murray. To me, Douglas is terrific here too - one of his best, and that's saying something.

With Harrison Ford I can only see 2 performances where he doesnt do the heroic cop routine (which is still good)

The Mosquito Coast and Presumed Innocent

I actually really liked him as Han Solo if I'm honest =)

Oh I like Ford too, he does what he does well quite well as long as he tries.
