Guniess or Firth,Barishnikov is awful and does nothing but dance n pout,Schell is limited with screen time, enjoyed Robards at the time but can't remember much about him now.

An interesting year, but it seems the supporting categories were pretty weak this year...

I think Peter will win; my favorites, Jason and Maximillian, don't stand a chance.

I was totally looking forward to your thoughts on this year because that year is so horrible for this category! Can't wait to see what you think.

It is technically a horrible year for movies, Peter Firth was the favorite to win the oscar, imagine that, a performance where half the film his bare naked wins an oscar haha

Thank you for doing this year. I know, it´s already too late, but I did my prediction for your pick long before you did the first review. Here it is:

1) Jason Robards
2) Alec Guiness
3) Peter Firth
4) Maximilian Schell
5) Mikhail Baryschnikov (terrible nomination!!!)

I'm giving it to Guinness. He should have been the only 3 time academy award winner for men.

(4 times for me, since I give him little Dorrit.)
