John Cazale in the Godfather Part II, winner of the Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting role. Oh well, it should have been so. But some good performances up there for sure.

Do you think you could review his performance in conjunction with your other Godfather II reviews?

I'm not a fan of any of the Godfather guys, but haven't seen Astaire or Bridges so I don't know who I'd choose. =/

This is a really good category, from one of my favourite Oscar years. I think, on balance, Gazzo is the best. But I know De Niro is considered a popular winner, so who knows?! (A shame too that Astaire never won a competitive Oscar.)

Ooh one of the most exciting races in the category, although people on the interwebs seem to generally agree that this is the least close of the 3 races with 3 nominees from the same film.

The other year not yet done that intrigues me is 1938, with Brennan's 2nd of 3 wins.
