Wow, is it already the end? It's hard to believe it'll be over soon.

I have only seen Burton, but he was great! Your choice is gonna look like this:

1) Richard Burton
2) Paul Scofield
3) Steve McQueen
4) Michael Caine
5) Alan Arkin

Burton has to win this!! He was perfect! I think you'll like Scofield and hate McQueen. I can't believe this is over, but we'll still have the supporting years in the future!!!

Wow, this is the end. I'm shocked.

For me it's Burton but Caine is very close.

Predictions:
1)Burton
2)Caine
3)Scofield
4)McQueen
5)Arkin

I think Burton will win but Scofield has become way underrated in A Man For All Seasons

Congratulations on going so far!!!

Scoefield was great but this was Burton's Oscar!

Scofield's was one of the best screen performances of all time, Burton was good too but Scofield should get it.

I've seen Burton, Scofield, and Caine, and I'm going to go with Burton, because Scofield's performance, for me, anyways, lacked the sort of naturalism in his role that someone like Olivier could have brought to it. Burton, however, fits his role to a "t". Caine would be third for me, simply because I don't feel he did as much as the other two.

And cheer up, guys, we've still a lot of Best Supporting Actor slots to go!

And we still have "Deserving Performances"! Like Ray Liotta in Goodfellas, Henry Fonda in 12 Angry Men, or Viggo Mortensen in A History of Violence. Stick together and we'll be alright!

Had Burton won for any of his seven nominations, it should have been for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? without a doubt.

Wow! Congrats on you're last year. Big big big accomplishment. :)

I've only seen Scofield from this group, and he was quite good.

Wow! Really?!!!! Oh my gosh, is it back to Best Supporting Actor or will try an actress year?

As good as Richard Burton is in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, I've always preferred Paul Scofield in A Man for all Seasons.
Would it be possible to declare a tie?

Wow that's a lot of comments, I certainly appreciate all of them.

Joe: I will return supporting.

Eddie: A tie is possible for me as I have given one in 56 for Kirk Douglas and Laurence Olivier.

No contest: BURTON!

One of the top 5 best performances of all time -- for real.
