Peter Finch in Sunday Bloody Sunday

Walter Matthau in Kotch

Gene Hackman in The French Connection

George C. Scott in The Hospital

Topol in Fiddler on the Roof

I've only seen Hackman and Scott of this bunch. I think Hackman deserved it, though it's been a while.

I have only seen Hackman and Topol. Hackman was okay, and Topol was very good.

I guess Finch is going to be your pick.

I would easily give this to Finch but Hackman and Topol were also quite great. I haven't seen the others.

Though Hackman has a great chance. This might be just wishful thinking.

Gene Hackman is my favorite actor ever, but I think he is overrated in this film. Hopefully he gest your vote for 1992 Best Supporting Actor which was an Oscar he absolutely deserved

My choice is George C.Scott with Finch not far behind.
