It's definitely a director's showcase for Wolfgang Petersen, who decided to throw away his great directorial skills and make mediocre action thrillers once he went English-language, but Prochnow is great.Michael Patisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03660402132708891205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2457552600380761837.post-1724902029895248182013-06-19T20:14:36.313-04:002013-06-19T20:14:36.313-04:00who is this foreign performance you speak of lol =...who is this foreign performance you speak of lol =D.RatedRStarnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2457552600380761837.post-83531419930396686472013-06-19T19:21:04.938-04:002013-06-19T19:21:04.938-04:00I do have a foreign language performance in mind f...I do have a foreign language performance in mind for my next request, though somebody will have to remind me that I do because I have a tendency to come up with somebody I think is really good and then completely forget and have to come up with somebody completely new once I guess correctly.Michael Patisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03660402132708891205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2457552600380761837.post-33336241847601937772013-06-19T19:18:02.790-04:002013-06-19T19:18:02.790-04:00Breaker Morant is really terrific. If you have Netflix, you can stream it.

As for Courtenay, I'll admit to only having seen bits and pieces of Dandy in Aspic, but I found the pieces of his performance I saw to be really great, as you said, in spite of his odd casting.

I haven't really seen any Asian films, so I couldn't say on that account.
