Victim was a pretty daring film lol =D, I think its Dirks Bogardes best performance, certainly his most daring.

Dennis Price as well, a gay man himself was very daring =D to have starred in it.

I'm really excited about Mifune's review, since Louis implied in an earlier review that this was gonna be a good one. Also, I don't see why people were saying this is a dull year for lead actors earlier, I thought Cagney was a riot and I ranked him last.

I will be very surprised Scott if all those 5 predictions for supporting 61 get in lol.

I would say Nakadai in Yojimbo has a far greater chance to be reviewed than Glass, Garner & McCormick.

Luke:

Blackwater - (It completely earns its singular focus by making it a truly rousing battle. All the pivotal moments are delivered with the utmost efficiency and it never forgets any of the characters within the spectacle)

Winter is Coming - (I thought it did an excellent job in setting up the various characters, as well as building the incredibly palatable atmosphere found in the show)

The Wolf and the Lion -(Loved the Tyrion scenes, loved the building of the tensions in the capital, and I loved the Jamie and Ned showdown. Although I must admit I felt a bit like Jamie with the way it turned out)

Baelor - (Really did the fights of the war extremely well without even showing it and I thought the final execution scene was handled exceptionally well)

Valar Morghulis - (Despite its highpoint of the previous episode I thought it maintained its steam quite artfully and juggled all the stories quite skillfully)

On a similar note, Louis, what are your favourite Breaking Bad episodes, with your thoughts?

Snow Trail - 4.5(His very first film role yet he shows no inexperience with his performance. It's a smaller role for him but he still brings so much more to what technically is a pretty simple role. He brings a greater depth and makes mark despite his limitations)

Stray Dog - 5(Great great performance. Mifune chemistry with Shimura is terrific and he carries the picture incredibly well. I always am going back and forth whether to give him the 49 win for this or for The Quiet Duel)

Samurai's I - 4.5(Really solid work as he very effectively and believably portrays the transformation from a trouble maker, to an outlaw, to a wiser man)

II - 4(I was very disappointed with the sequel as a film which I thought jumbled too many characters around and all around lacked focus. Mifune was still solid but the film just gave him far too little to do in this case)

The Bad Sleep Well - 4.5(Probably his least screentime in a leading role for Kurosawa as he is a supporting player for about the first third. It's a interesting performance though as Mifune creates the calm facade with his burning intensity hiding just beneath his skin)

The Sword of Doom - 4(Perfect casting more than anything else as his role needed to be a force to be reckoned without too much build up. Mifune definitely brings that quality well and delivers his one monologue quite powerfully)

Matt:

Ozymandias -(Delivers its explosive moments flawlessly bringing the emotional poignancy they deserve)

Granite State - (I loved the meditative nature of the episode as it frankly gave the right time to ponder all that happened as well as build to the final conclusion. It also has probably one of the greatest cliffhanger endings of all time)

Felina - (A worthy finale for such a great series and an emotional satisfying one for Walter White.)

Dead Freight (Probably one of the most fun episodes, besides its ending, and the train heist is just a fantastic set piece)

Crawl Space - (The whole season has a constant intensity and this episode builds to almost an unbearable level with its unforgettable final scene)
